Help Wanted We are always looking for bright and articulate
customer-oriented people to join the One Block West service team. Fine dining
experience is most helpful because our menu changes daily and you have to
know your dishes and preparations with minimal guidance from the kitchen
staff. Knowledge of wine and wine service along with basic bartending skills
is also helpful. Most important however is an attitude of doing right by
customers. If you think you are right for this, call to arrange for a
face-to-face interview. Be sure to bring a résumé and professional references
with you. Server Assistants—energetic people with
good customer skills wanted to assist servers, especially on weekends. This
is a training position for polishing your skills in anticipation of becoming
a server. You cannot be a server at One Block West without several months of
training as a server assistant. Maître d’Hôtel/Sommelier—We’re
looking for a food service professional to run the front of One Block West, to
manage our beverage program, and to act as our sommelier. Intimate knowledge
of food, the restaurant business, and wine required. |
